Elizabeth is a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Master of Art Degree in Psychology: Clinical Counseling from the Citadel Graduate College.
Throughout her training, Elizabeth has worked as both an individual counselor and group leader treating adults with substance abuse disorders, dual diagnosis, and mood disorders. Elizabeth also has experience working with children and adolescents (ages 5-18) as a mental health counselor providing evidenced-based treatments for these clients along with their families, focusing on trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Elizabeth has completed Level 1 training from The Gottman Institute for Couples Therapy.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Post Masters Training Fellowship

CDBTA’s fellowship program combines intensive training, mentorship, peer consultation and hands-on clinical work. The program is designed to enhance clinical competencies in DBT treatment and prepares clinicians for national certification. CDBTA fellows learn from specialists in the field by participating in DBT consultation team, mentorship discussions, learning activities and individual supervision. Fellows apply their learning by co- facilitating DBT Skills Training Groups and providing therapy to a small number of clients.
